Tech savvy students at Highland Park High School are learning to write code for mobile apps in a new computer science club called "Hello World," reports the Chicago Tribune.
The popular club, which was established last month and already includes more than 30 students, was the idea of freshman Ethan Eirinberg, who whose older brother Dylan created an iPhone app for a game, according to the Tribune.
For the "Hello World" club, Eirinberg got the web development company Team Treehouse to give the club an expensive group subscription free of charge, reported the Tribune.
Eirinberg has also created his own website, www.Rapidfilters.com, which helps people organize their e-mail inbox.
