Here are some dramatic, unusual or just plain weird police stories from Bucks and Montgomery this week.

Local police departments provided the following reports. In all incidents where an arrest occurred, a charge is merely an accusation and not evidence of guilt.

The 2 A.M. Cab Slap

A Chicago taxi driver called the police at 2 a.m. to report an Arlington Heights woman slapped the driver in the head when he asked her to sign a debit card receipt. The woman told police she did not realize the receipt was unsigned and she did not remember slapping the driver.

Step On A Shaka, Break Your Mother's Backa

Buffalo Grove police found a shaka sign painted on the sidewalk.

Grandma's Knitting Warms Up Family Feud

A Niles woman was charged with domestic battery after pushing and scratching her 76-year-old grandmother's arm, causing a small laceration, over a sweater.

Steal 1 TV, Get Second Spree

Men from Des Plaines and Evanston were charged with felony retail theft when security at a Niles store saw one of them wheeling a TV out of a store without paying for it. When police apprehended the men, there was another TV from the same store in the trunk of their van.
