Theft
May 13: Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported that an iPhone 5 was taken from an unlocked locker in the women’s locker room. The incident occurred in the 1200 block of Park Avenue West, Highland Park.
May 13: Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported that a black iPhone 4S was taken from a gym locker sometime between 1:20 PM and 1:50 PM. The incident occurred in the 900 block of North Avenue, Highland Park.
May 14: Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that a black Samsung Galaxy was taken from a gym locker sometime around 6 a.m. The incident occurred in the 100 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park.
May 16: Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that around 5:00 AM on 05/11/13 an unknown subject(s) took two model dessert cakes from a display case in a restaurant near the register. The incident occurred in the 2000 block of Skokie Valley Road, Highland Park.
May 16: Police are investigating a delayed report of a theft. It was reported that a macbook pro laptop, hard drive, and headphones were taken from an unlocked locker in the boys locker room between 11:00AM and 12:10PM. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Vine Avenue, Highland Park.
May 16: Police are investigating a report of a theft. It was reported that a 24" Trek MT200 (matte black/silver) mountain bike and helmet were stolen from a driveway between 1:30PM and 5:30PM. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Barberry Road, Highland Park.
Criminal damage to property
May 16: Police are investigating a delayed report of a criminal damage to property. It was reported that unknown subjects, possibly middle school aged were using a baseball bat to strike the top horizontal fence post of the split rail fence that is located on the east side of McKibbin Street just south of Eisenhower Road causing damage to the fence.
Criminal damage to vehicle
May 16: Police are investigating a report of a criminal damage to vehicle. It was reported that on 05/14/13 between 8:30 AM - 3:30 the left front tire a parked vehicle had been slashed. The incident occurred in the 400 block of Vine Avenue, Highland Park.
