Deerfield
Trick or treating throughout Deerfield from 3:30 to 7 p.m. Oct. 31.
Halloween Hoopla, the Deerfield Park District's single biggest event of the year will have activities from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 26 and from 3 through 6 p.m. Oct. 27 at Jewett Park.
Halloween Party for Children with Special Needs, Deerfield Village Hall, 850 Waukegan Road, Saturday, October 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Lake Forest and Lake Bluff
Lake Forest Trick or Treating, Wednesday Oct. 31 from 4-8 p.m.
Lake Bluff Trick or Treating, Wednesday Oct. 31 from 4-7 p.m. The Lake Bluff Police Department will host its annual hot dog roast behind the public safety building during those hours.
Lake Bluff Ghost Walk, Saturday Oct. 27 and Sunday Oct. 28, $25 for adults, $10 for students. Tours depart every 15 minutes, from 6-9 on Saturday and from 5-8 on Sunday. Tickets can be purchased at the Lake Bluff History Museum or online .

Michael’s Rockin’ Red Hot Haunted House, Thursday, at Michael's, Oct. 25 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Enjoy a DJ performance by Mobile Music Entertainment and spooky special effects by Epic Entertainment.
