Attendance will be much more limited than the 2008 Grant Park gathering, where tens of thousands of then-presidential candidate Barack Obama supporters filled Chicago's downtown streets.
About 10,000 people will be allowed into the Lakeside McCormick Place convention center Nov. 6, the Sun-Times reports.
Only campaign volunteers willing to offer up their time toward the effort to get the president reelected will be given entry, according to the Chicago Tribune.
