Cops: Sex Offender Robbed Waitress, Family
A Tennessee convict is ordered held in lieu of $1 million after storming into the Lake View restaurant Cassava Bread Sunday night and robbing a waitress, a Buffalo Grove mother and her two children, the Chicago Tribune reports.
William Castle, 43, was charged with aggravated robbery, unlawful restraint and aggravated kidnapping, police said. He is also on Tennessee’s sexual offender registry for aggravated sexual battery in 2009.
Police say the Buffalo Grove family was eating at the Lake View bakery at 3338 N. Clark St. when Castle busted in around 6:10 p.m., asking the 19-year-old waitress if he could use the bathroom, the Hartford Courant reports. Instead, the man entered the kitchen, grabbed the woman by her collar and said, “Give me all the cash,” according to the police report.

Hypothermia Cause of Joey Frase Death
The cause of death for Joseph "Joey" Frase of Grayslake, whose body was found the morning of Jan. 22 near Campbell Airport, "is very simple," said Lake County Coroner Thomas Rudd.
"Hypothermia."
Frase, 20, had gone missing from a party in Round Lake's Madrona Village in the early morning hours of Sunday, Jan 20. Volunteers searching in a tree line near the area of Campbell Airport in Round Lake Park discovered his body at about 10:35 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22.
Given the sub-zero wind chills in those overnight hours, and the fact that Frase was wearing a hoodie and not a winter coat, "exposure can take you very fast," said Rudd.
